Veterans Day Recognition 2026-27

Dear Students and Families,

As we approach Veterans Day, we are reminded of the many sacrifices made by the brave men and women who have served our country. This year, McMinn County Schools will be proudly celebrating Veterans Day at each of our schools as a way to honor those who have served and to express our gratitude for their dedication and courage.

To help us in this celebration, we invite families to complete this form with the name of the veteran in your family and your student's relation to them. This will allow us to properly recognize the veteran and their family during our school celebrations. Each school will hold its own Veterans Day event, and the contributions from your forms will be used to ensure these events are personal and meaningful. Please complete this online form by Monday, November 2, 2026.

Please look out for further communication from your child's school regarding the specific activities planned for Veterans Day. We look forward to coming together as a district to show our heartfelt appreciation for the veterans and their families who are a part of the McMinn County Schools community.
